Submitting a Claim
Manulife offers three convenient claims submissions:
1. Regular: Paper Process - Submit a paper EHC claim form and receive a paper cheque and paper claim statement.
2. Fast: Paper/Electronic Process - Submit a paper EHC claim form and receive a direct deposit into your bank account, with e-statement sent to your email account.
3. Fastest: Electronic Process - Submit claims online via the plan member site and receive a direct deposit into your bank account, with e-statement sent to your email account.
How long could it take to have my claim processed?
This will depend largely on how you submit your claim and how you choose to receive payment. Paper claims can be sent to the address printed on the claim form. Be sure to record your group policy number and your certificate number and include all original receipts, to avoid any unnecessary delays in the processing of your claim.
