Applying for Coverage

To apply for group benefits, you will receive an enrollment invitation from our group benefits provider CANADA LIFE. This mandatory coverage activation must be completed within 30 days of becoming eligible.

All group benefits are mandatory; however, if you are currently on your partner's benefits plan, you may waive medical and dental coverage, with proof of alternate coverage. The LTD, life and AD&D insurance are mandatory.

• The cost for group benefits: Single: $35/pay, Family: $75/pay, Waived Health/Dental Coverage: $12/pay.
• Group Benefits Policy Year: Runs from July 1 - June 30 annually.
