Sandi Carew

Sandi is responsible for the negotiations and enforcement of the resident collective agreement, resident advocacy, liaising with related organizations such as RDoC (Resident Doctors of Canada), the medical societies, colleges, etc., developing our operational and strategic plans, organizing the Board of Directors through monthly and annual meetings, managing the resident Trust Fund and overseeing projects and the day-to-day operations of the office.

Verlie is the first point of contact for day-to-day general inquiries, corporate travel arrangements, maintaining an accurate membership database and the overall reception for the Maritime Resident Doctors office.
Daniel Bonner

Daniel is responsible for all communications to residents via email blast, and our quarterly electronic newsletter. He is also responsible for the content and updating of the Maritime Resident Doctors website and our various social media channels. Cristy ensures a smooth running of the office finances by maintaining accurate financial records including payroll, accounts payable and receivable, banking, record keeping of all accounts and projects, and any other duties to ensure an accurate account of Maritime Resident Doctors finances.
Leanne Drake

Leanne is responsible for managing the resident group benefits plan; which includes medical, dental, travel, life, AD&D and disability insurances. She works behind the scenes liaising with Canada Life, LifeWorks, MHCSI, Dalhousie and NSHA regarding billing, leaves of absence, etc. Leanne also coordinates all of our resident wellness initiatives and serves as the main contact for the Healthy Resident Program..
